My love of horses came from my mother Lee Sinclair who founded Malibu Park. I attended Mentone, Parkdale and District Pony Club with my horse Tally Ho. We competed in the pony club teams eventing squad.
My sister Anne had moved to Perth, so I went to visit her and stayed for 39 years. I desperately tried to not be involved with horses, but I guess it is in the blood, hence the name Karma Park. My fate or destiny was horses.
Mum sent me Malibu Park Briar and Malibu Park Pagurian both Stallions. Sometime later we acquired Kirreway Quinton and then Malibu Park Destiny. Both Welsh B Stallions.
Quinton certainly made his mark for us and Destiny crossed back over the Quinton females. We eventually purchased Falconhurst Reprise (Imp) (Dec). He gave us some amazing stock too.
Our current stallion was bred by Julie Klante of Wesswoods Stud. She used Falconhurst Reprise over her wonderful mare Pure Caste. Wesswoods Raven Caste (ET) was purchased from Julie at 6 months of age by my husband Greg.
We showed Wesswoods Raven Caste aka Jake in Perth as a 2 year old and he did exceptionally well. He has bred some fantastic stock for us. Jake is only a young stallion being a 2007 foal. His first born is Karma Park National Girl owned by Shannara Beresi.
Greg always loved Keston Royal Occasion and when Dainhill Royal Bow came on the market he was purchased and made the trip from Victoria to W.A. He is now back in Victoria. Bow has had a stellar career as a breeding stallion siring many HOY champions.
For several years I had wanted to come back to Victoria as it is home to me. In 2015 we sold our property in Keysbrook WA and made the trek to Creightons Creek. We are right on the Hume Hwy where the creek crosses.
We moved 23 horses with Ramsays Transport, 4 sea containers of household and farm goods, also doing 3 trips with cars, tractors etc. A huge move and one I would not tackle again. We love being here, but the move was exhausting.
